Furry

Furry: "Furry Yarn Balls: Roll the Skein into a ball before using to keep tangles out of yarn. This will put Stress on the yarn and could take the bounce out of the yarn if left too long in a yarn ball.
Furry Cones for Yarn: Weavers and Machine knitters love these. They are a great way to get a lot of yardage in one space. "

Looks like an interesting crochet pattern book for flowers. Crocheted flowers are in for this spring.

Fingering

Fingering: "
Fingering Yarn Skeins: Best for storage. Allows yarn to be relaxed until ready to use. Can be used with a Yarn Swift.
Pull Skeins: Some column_1~ Yarn manufactures will Skein their yarns in ready to use center pull skeins. Look at the yarn label to confirm. "

This type of fingering yarn knits wonderful baby sweaters. It is soft and usually washable

Yarn-covered Couch: ShedirYarn-covered Couch: "

I really love the snowflake pattern on the top. It's so much better than just straight cables all the way up. I like details like this."

Great looking knitted hat. I loved the knitted snowflake pattern. Looks difficult but worth the effort.

Mutually Reclusive

Mutually Reclusive: "Merino spaghetti? I envisioned a plate with my laceweight loosely piled upon it, but the meatballs, the sauce... what can you do? Large beads for meatballs, perhaps, but we'll not be spoiling the color of this delicate delight with any kind of sauce.
Other ideas came and went... a merino necklace, merino hair over a doll's face, a sheep led by a strand of merino by a doll...
I realized I was spending way more time trying to find the perfect picture than it would take to just write a little entry and show you the damn hank of laceweight."

Crochet Blanket

Great looking crocheted baby's memory blanket. Seems reasonable.

Filatura Di Crosa

Filatura Di Crosa: "Filatura Di Crosa Yarn Balls: Roll the Skein into a ball before using to keep tangles out of yarn. This will put Stress on the yarn and could take the bounce out of the yarn if left too long in a yarn ball.
Filatura Di Crosa Cones for Yarn: Weavers and Machine knitters love these. They are a great way to get a lot of yardage in one space. "

Of course the knitting pattern book for this yarn looks interesting. Spring is here, althought the weatherman says otherwise, so I "need" spring knitting patterns. This Filatura Di Crosa yarn is nice to work with and they seem to be coming out with new yarns.

Crocheting:
Other forms of handwork knitting, embroidery and weaving can be dated far back in time, thanks to archeological finds, written sources and pictorial representations of various kinds. But no one is quite sure when and where crochet got its start. The word comes from croc, or croche, the Middle French word for hook, and the Old Norse word for hook is krokr."
