Crochet Cape Pattern

The Annies Attick hooded crochet cape looks like an interesting pattern. I am always looking for different children's crocheting and knitting patterns.

What a gorgeous shawl and a great idea to use ribbon as a closure.
I have never used silk soy yarn- might take a look at it.

Great cable pattern. I am also doing a cable scarf. I was on Jury duty and was afraid they would not allow metal in. So I took my bamboo needles and a plastic crochet hook to use as a cable needle. It worked out fine.

Everytime I check out the discount yarn page I find something else I need. I will soon have to look for a house that has a place to store alll the great, reasonable, must have yarns I buy!

I have never thought about unraveling a store bought sweater and using the yarn- interesting notion.
Anyway, take a look at the new Knit and Bitch, National book. THere is a whole chapter on how to design your own knitted garment. It seemed pretty simple.

Bernat

Bernat

The Bernat prices are great! I cannot believe that 10 skeins of the Aran is less than $10.

I will compare it to other sites, but this seems to be the cheapest yet.

Good looking granny square, this observation from someone who is not great with a crochet hook- so I guess I am easily impressed- just kidding. I wish I could crochet a square, but knitting is still my thing!

Baby

Some good prices. I like the baby alpaca and the color is perfuect. It is amazing to compare these prices to local yarn shops!

Great project- with Legos. I can just imagine what the boys could create with skeins of yarn!
